Beginning from 2008, O'REC had involved in various projects nationwide. These include projects on POME treatment system, biogas generation, biogas co-firing, biogas to electricity, bio-methane, pipeline injection, compressed natural gas, industrial grade palm oil production, palm oil wax and many others.

O'REC was established back in 2008 with strong intention in making the palm oil industry a sustainable one through recovering the leftover oil from their liquid discharged. Therefore the company was named O'REC, an abbreviation of oil recovery.
Nowadays, O'REC has evolved and ventured into a complete lifecycle of palm oil discharged. Besides oil, O'REC also has comprehensive system for Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) treatment systems, methane generation and its applications as well as particulate matter emission control system.
O'REC is the only company in this country to have a complete system, complying with Department of Environment (DOE) requirements for palm oil mills. Nevertheless, it status quo doesn't stop O'REC from taking up the challenges in finding better solutions and applications so as to make our palm oil is recognised as a sustainable industry.
